1. GRAND PRIX
a. A Grand Prix award may be awarded to one candidate of the ballet competition. It consists of a 1,000.00 CAD prize.
b. All participants, of all ages and categories, may receive the Grand Prix.
c. To be eligible to receive the Grand Prix one must have more than 98% of the maximum points.
d. The jury has the right to decide whether the Grand Prix will be given or not.
2. BALLET
a. Each age category in each division (Competitive & Professional) will be accorded a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd prize.
b. In the professional division of age categories 12+, the 1st prize winners get a monetary prize, if the candidate has a grade equal or higher than 94%.
c. In the professional division of age category 18+, the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd prize winners get a monetary prize, if the candidate has a grade equal or higher than 94%.
d. Any judge may choose to offer additional scholarships, contracts or other if they so desire.
3. CONTEMPORARY
a. Each age category will be accorded a 1st, a 2nd, and a 3rd prize.
b. The 1st prize winner of each category ages 12+ will receive a monetary prize if the candidate has a grade equal or higher than 94%.
c. Any judge may choose to offer additional scholarships, contracts or other if they so desire.
4. ADDITIONAL AWARDS
a. Outstanding Performance Award (Monetary Prize)
b. Rising Star Award (Digital certificate)
c. Outstanding Teacher Award (Digital certificate)
d. Karl Musil Prize – In memory of an International Danseur Noble, former principal dancer at the Vienna State Opera Ballet (Glass award)
5. ADDITIONAL PRIZES
a. One tiara from Empire Tiaras
b. One rehearsal tutu from On Pointe Tutus
c. One skirt from Tea Thread Designs
6. CERTIFICATES
a. All competitors will receive a digital certificate with mention of either participation, finalist, or 1st, 2nd, or 3rd prize.
